1. what material you deal with . normally if you make wood mold ,Bt40 Spindle is best for optional . as wood a little hard than stryrofoam .so Bt 40 spindle for water cooling high torque , low speed (0-8000rpm per min ). it according power to choose normally wood mold like car ship boat ,plane wood pattern etc . 5.5kw water cooling spindle BT 40 spindle 3 axis is enough . you can take part by part to milling with software . 

      Iso 30 spindle normally for styrofoam as it very light .if you make 3d modle with this . 4 axis 180 degree or 5 axis 360 degree best for you choose . 

    this spindle light high speed (0-24000rpm per min ) so it rotary light . the spindle can mill all direction surface . no need take part by part to mill .it depend you produce crafts to choose . some customers using wood mold it is a little waste . as wood material  a little high price than styrofoam . if sryrofoam mold . when finish . you can using cast aluminum hot water then it can disappared .then car mold finish . 

2. The structure table difference . Bt 40 spindle need heavy duty structure table . as spindle very heavier , it need the Z axis beam can bear it . so all the structure table need high pressure .the table cast iron  table . it also depend the working size .normally 1325(1300*2500mm ) 2030 (2000*3000*1000mm ),2050(2000*5000*1000mm ),3050(3000*5000*1000mm ), or other customize size . all the structure table heat-treatment .which has lasting stability, accuracy and high strength, static and   dynamic rigidity, and has a good damping, Thermal stability and impact   resistance. Bt 40 spindle no suggest for 4 axis or 5 axis . it normally for 3 axis . ISO3o spindle structure table can a little light. it can do any axis . 

3. Tools difference . Bt 40 spindle for short carving bits  no matter rough milling or fine milling . But ISO3o spindle need longer bits to rough milling fine milling need short bits to make sure the high precision .
